Formed early in the spring of 2000, Unbecoming You is the byproduct of two rival 90's bands from Racine, WI. From day one, their chemistry was unsurpassable and their stage presence was unlike anything the local music scene had ever experienced. UNU was quickly acknowledged by the community as a venue filler and became the premier local band to book in the Metro-Milwaukee area by fall of 2000. In 2002, Unbecoming you was in a league of their own, headlining local showcases and opening for national acts including: Billy Idol, Seether, Trapt, Smile Empty Soul, Lacuna Coil, Moonspell, The Electric Hellfire Club and more. Unbecoming You's monumental rise was due to their excess of talent, unique sound, shared common goals and camaraderie. Their low end and tight percussion thrived on the west coast flavor of bassist Chris Miller and his bond with long time friend and all-star drum machine Andrew J Spaulding. Their raw talent and ability to play as one entity impressed fans and colleagues alike and brought Unbecoming You's back beat to the forefront. On the upper end of the spectrum, UNU boasts the screaming sonic guitar of Eric Halbur and the emotional vocal stylings and versatility of Zak Yanakowicz.

These life long friends feed off of one another from the writing process all the way through their intense live performances. Together, all four boys form a band of brothers that bring the noise both on and off the stage. Unfortunately, Unbecoming You parted ways in October 2004, but all four members remained good friends and reunited the band in February 2011. Now, More than a decade after formation, Unbecoming You continues to redefine rock music by fusing meaning with melody and fueling it with the intense emotion of modern times. Though their lives and passions have changed, Unbecoming You continues to produce a new and heart felt sound that is uniquely their own and uneasily categorized. The band strives to write music that will be as relevant in ten years as it is today and brings their creativity and intensity to both the stage and the studio. More importantly, Unbecoming You breathes an air of life into the overly compressed, meaningless, weak stylings of contemporary hard rock music. Unbecoming You is back in full effect and ready to put their money where there mouth is, as they release their sound to the world via Project Jericho.
